This shift alone can change the tone of the entire case.

Colette M. Lettieri and Melissa M. Pavone have partnered to support women in navigating life after divorce with confidence, clarity, and purpose. With over 50 years of combined experience, they have developed a comprehensive six module program designed to foster both financial empowerment and emotional resilience.
This thoughtfully curated program equips women with the tools, strategies, and mindset needed to move forward with strength and intention—helping them build a solid foundation for long-term personal and financial success.
Together, Colette and Melissa offer a distinctive blend of emotional support, communication coaching, financial guidance, and practical implementation strategies. This program is thoughtfully designed to help women navigate the challenges of divorce while fostering healing, rebuilding confidence, and creating a clear, stable, and intentional path forward into the next chapter of their lives.
As a communication coach in the collaborative divorce process, Colette guides clients from reactive communication patterns toward intentional, productive dialogue. Her work centers on helping individuals translate emotionally charged concerns into language that can be heard, understood, and constructively addressed. By fostering psychological safety, she creates the conditions necessary for effective problem-solving and forward movement.
In practice, this often means reframing conversations to shift from blame to collaboration. For example, transforming statements like “You never prioritize the kids” into “I’m concerned about consistency for the children—can we work together to create a schedule that feels stable?” This shift enables both parties to engage more thoughtfully and focus on shared goals.
What distinguishes her role is that she is not simply supporting individuals through a separation—she is helping to redesign a family system so it can function successfully in a new form. This requires a strategic blend of conflict resolution, emotional regulation, and systems thinking. Colettes goal is to help clients move forward with clarity, dignity, and sustainable agreements that serve everyone involved.
Colette Lettieri is a licensed social worker, educator, and certified health coach with a multidisciplinary background in psychology, education, and wellness. Colette is also certified in divorce and collaborative divorce.
Melissa Murphy Pavone, CFP®, CDFA® is a Certified Financial Planner® professional, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and author of Divorce by Design, specializing in helping individuals navigate the financial complexities of divorce with clarity, confidence, and strategy. As the founder of Mindful Divorce Partners, Melissa works closely with clients, attorneys, mediators, and collaborative professionals to help people make informed financial decisions during one of life’s most emotionally overwhelming transitions.
Her work is deeply personal. As a child of divorce, Melissa watched her mother make decisions from a place of emotion, fear, and survival—without the financial guidance and support that could have changed the trajectory of her future. That experience became her “why” and inspired her mission to help others approach divorce with both emotional awareness and financial clarity.
Today, Melissa helps clients slow down, organize the facts, understand the numbers, and create a plan that supports not just surviving divorce—but thriving after it. Her approach combines financial expertise with compassion, helping clients navigate post-divorce cash flow, asset division, implementation planning, and long-term financial stability while reducing anxiety and overwhelm.
Melissa believes divorce is not just a legal event—it is a financial and emotional transition that deserves thoughtful planning, support, and a roadmap forward.
